Global Issues

Internet threats are global. Hackers in Russia may use compromised machines in the USA to send Spam to users in Europe who are lured to websites hosted in China. In other cases attacks are initiated in one area of the world and spread as countries come on line at the beginning of a working day. The ability to detect these threats on one continent and apply solutions that protect clients in another continent is a tremendous advantage that security service providers located in one geographical location do not have.

Global Intelligence

To that end, Network Box is represented across the globe in 10 Security Operation Centres (SOC's). The SOC's are supported by service centres that provide commercial and technical personnel. Service centres allow Network Box to react quickly to issues requiring a physical presence.

Each SOC is manned by carefully selected and trained personnel who can understand attack vectors and traffic patterns and advise customers accordingly. These engineers, whose sole job is looking after Network Box security systems, have wide-ranging experience of different security issues that they have resolved in a practical manner for a variety of clients both large and small in many different countries.

Extensive Experience

These engineers also have extensive experience in configuring and maintaining customers' Network Boxes which means that they can carry out changes quickly and efficiently. Knowing what the system is and isn't capable of means that the client's time is saved because they don't have to spend time exploring if their device can carry a particular task. More importantly, those features of the Network Box that are relevant to the client's business are implemented, maximizing the return on investment that the client has in the Network Box system.

Monitoring and Management

The SOC's actively test that customers' systems are working. Over 100 different tests are carried out on each customer system to identify any parameters that are moving out of normal tolerance. Furthermore, the SOC's gather information from customer boxes allowing responses to new attack vectors to be devised as they occur in real time.

The global network of Network Box SOC's monitor and manage every Network Box. Updated threat protection signatures and software packages are installed as soon as they are fully tested and available. Using Network Box's proprietary PUSH technology, clients' systems are updated within a minute of a solution being ready for deployment. The management and monitoring communication channels are protected by 3DES encryption and 2048bit RSA authentication keys.

With highly trained security specialists and sophisticated health monitoring systems, Network Box often detects, identifies and fixes problems before they ever affect our customers. With this kind of support Network Box behaves like your very own team of security specialists protecting your networks at all times.
